Darren Bent. Underrated by all but who will emerge out of this season as one of the best goal scorers in the game, let alone just the EPL
ReplyDeleteOops! I should have posted here. Torres all the way, there is no bigger young talent in the EPL right now from an offensive standpoint. He can single handedly inspire his team to victory as Saturday's game against the damned United proved.
ReplyDeleteAs it stands today your top three are Torres, followed by Bent and Drogba. Although it is very early days still I think it will be one of these three still when the season ends. Torres is energetic , Drogba a real workhorse and Bent is just a gift that no one expected. In an ideal world I would love to see a Black Cat snatch the title from under the nose of the bigger names but looking at the situation realistically Torres is a safe bet.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is discounting Rooney but don't be so quick to do so. He is a threat in any given game and I think without Gaynaldo hogging the spotlight this year he will really get the chance to shine.
ReplyDeleteWhy are people focusing on the list as it stands now, in October? There is a long way to go. Bent has finished in the top ten before, so he is'nt a big surprise but others will find their form as the season goes on. Don't discount Gerrard, Lampard, even Van Persie. That said, I think it will be Torres.
ReplyDeleteWith Ronaldo overseas this season is wide open. Wayne Rooney will I think improve as the season goes on but it is hard to argue with the popular choice of Torres, who seems to be the only bright spark that Liverpool have going for them at the moment.
ReplyDeleteAnd the winner (by random drawing as it was hard to pick any other way.) is Ronnie. Congratulations.
